It’s so wonderful they keep these things online for us. I do love the Smithsonian.

I’m glad to have something quilty to leave up here as I leave for a while. My wrist is getting worse that’s certain. I have one more test to confirm what the surgeon feels is Carpal Tunnel then I see him on Thursday.

When I had my last procedure he was fairly confident we were heading towards surgery so I’m just assuming that’s what’s going to happen.

I do know typing is difficult and coming up with a topic to write about is a challenge. I’m still sewing in little bits, straight lines, four-patches and little units that make up a quilt. Stolen moments that add up and I’m not complaining. It’s a gift I’m totally grateful for and I have other things going on in my life so I’m not going to lose interest around here.

I will admit I am a bit worried how I might manage around here post-op with one hand. There was a person in my life “definitely committed to help you” but when I brought up the status of the possible surgery the person said: “Wow! Well take care” and that was it. I actually knew that was coming to be honest. I think folks really do mean well and they give the best they can. Everyone has the best of intentions. I see that a lot in my situation. You can’t get upset with the person but it is okay to be a little worried.

This person is NOT one of my quilting friends so anyone reading this, don’t worry, no quilter friend I have would do that.

I’m sure it will be some time before any surgery is confirmed and scheduled so I’ll be able to work something out. It shouldn’t be that big of a deal actually. Now that I’m sharing this with you I can hear your support so I’m already thinking “I Got This!” somehow.
