Ohhhhhhh hand quilting – so lovely – it makes me feel warm and cozy all over. I have a queen size pre-printed top to hand quilt. I bought it for 7.95 when a shop was going out of business – and have done nothing with it. Maybe I’ll take it to my long armer and have her baste it for me so I can have hand quilting for this winter. It is far too big for me to try hand basting it – and besides – machine basting is so much sturdier.

Great quilting, Karen. And yes the blue will come out. I use to get pre-quilted baby quilts that were marked in the same manner for cross-stitch. The markings always came out. In fact, don’t let it sit unfinished or you chance the markings disappearing. Keep up the wonderful work.

Your stitches are beautiful. I have a mini-wholecloth by The Stencil Company. It is called “Holly Wreath.” I hope to finish it before Christmas (2012) to display with other Christmas quilts.

Your stitches look wonderful! I struggle with hand quilting but have limited experience. I need to try it again. I love wholecloth quilts and this one is going to be gorgeous!

Looks lovely – are you pacing yourself on this? I enjoy hand quilting but am not one of those who could sit for hours doing it. Just took a look at the website and am very tempted to order a queen size – welsh beauty design of course :-) Hope you’re doing well missus xxx

How lovely it looks, and I bet you are enjoying doing it. Love as always, my friend. xx

Looks great! During a crazy moment I bought a queen size pre-printed wholecloth to hand quilt…maybe someday!

I’ve been doing some hand quilting lately too. The front looks pretty good, but the back, not so much. I really need to make sure I am going through all the layers and having those back stitches show up better! Your work looks great!

Beautiful stitches. I love those pre-printed pieces.
Thank you for sharing – makes me want to go pick up a needle!
