Christmas in Drag!

“Sure, Christmas morning is all fun and games…
until someone starts dressing up the Pets!”
I did have a great Christmas though.  A lovely morning opening a handful of gifts and a nice little party here with the LeeHaven contingent ~ rockin’ out to my new Alicia Key’s CD.  Couldn’t help it.  I was dancing and jubilant.  Breakfast at the neighbors was filled with food and great conversation.  Phone calls to family and friends.  Napping and then… old movies and sewing!
More 16 Patches.
Comfort and Joy was had by all (…and Sagan got a couple extra cookies for his hard work!) and I’m about ready to get my life back together a bit. I’m thinking I’ll start by laying off the SWEETS!  Surely my pancreas will appreciate it.

I sure hope you had a lovely Christmas with special moments – I truly do.  I was alone for the morning but I had a wonderful time and I’d want for everyone to be able to have some of that.  It all started with one thoughtful box, something simple.  I felt well loved.  After that… well you can see the result for yourself.

  1. Very dignified! He's so cute that he looks good with or without attachments. I'm glad you had a nice Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year!

  2. What a great photo! Glad you had a good Christmas … yes, laying off the sweets would be good for each and every one of us.

Take care – and continue to know you are well loved!

  3. I sjipped dressing Bella up for Christmas since she endured the new puppy that stayed with us for 5 days intil Santa could deliver him to my grand kids. I think that was enough for her to have to deal with. She is so glad he went home so she could reclaim her spot in my lap! I did not get any alone moments, boy did I need them!! I will get some of that in the next few days. It was a great Christmas! Looks like yours was great, too! Happy New Year!!

  4. Karen, Our day was also filled with joy, love, laughter, food, and warm memories. Just a few guests, my youngest daughter and her two sons. A few small gifts shared (each filled with love). I sent all my leftover pies with them for dinner at the boys dads house (except a small piece for hubby and I to enjoy today). Then my daugher stayed and played some computer games with me for a bit while hubby read his new book. Your day sounds much the same and I'm so glad. I think of time to relax after the 'festivities' as an added bonus. Just soak in the quiet still filled with the warmth of the day. Now, about dressing up the pets, LOL. Is that Sagan? Well, after all, the ribbon is a good color for him *wink*. Warm thoughts and gentle hugs.

  5. What a lovely day you had! It makes me smile to read about it. Is that Santa's helper I spy? Adorable! I hope he got an extra treat for dressing up!
    Happy day after Christmas!!

  6. Cooperative guy, that Sagan. Lovin' his polka dots! ;-)

I'm with you for foregoing the Christmas sweets. Ugh…my tummy. But…but…they'd taste so grand with my morning cuppa coffee…. *whine*

    Your cold? Is it gone?!

Is the sun shining there? I have a niece visiting the Key West area. So far, no sunshine for her vaca.

Daybreak is just happening here. I'm going to *try* to venture out of the house today and snap some pics. What we bloggers wouldn't do for a few photo opps…right Sagan?!

    Polka dotted, golden hugs….

  7. Your pup looks like he at least will sit for a picture. I have to sneak up on mine, he does not like his picture taken. Glad you had a good Christmas.
